ChildNet will host its annual “Care for Kids” Cocktails and Cheers fundraising event on May 14 at 6 p.m. at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood. Presented by Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, the event will bring together community leaders, advocates and supporters dedicated to improving the lives of children in foster care.
A highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the 2025 Champion for Children Award to Cindy Arenberg Seltzer, president and CEO of the Children’s Services Council of Broward County, in recognition of her tireless advocacy for ChildNet and its vital work. Attendees will enjoy a lively atmosphere with music, a silent auction and delicious cocktails and food.
The funds raised from this event will support ChildNet’s mission to provide safe, loving and stable environments for abused, abandoned and neglected children.
By attending or contributing to the “Care for Kids” Cocktails and Cheers event, community members can help ChildNet provide brighter futures for vulnerable children in South Florida.
The Boca Raton Observer is the event’s exclusive media sponsor.
