The Jewish Women's Foundation (JWF) Of South Palm Beach County's 22nd annual “Granting Wishes” event will take place on March 21 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Temple Beth El in Boca Raton.
This year’s celebration, themed “Love Made Her a Voice for the Voiceless,” will feature keynote speaker Allison Norlian, a three-time Emmy-nominated journalist and advocate for mental health and disability rights.
Norlian’s inspiring story is rooted in her Jewish upbringing and her devotion to her disabled sister. As the co-founder of BirdMine, a production company dedicated to amplifying marginalized voices, Norlian has produced acclaimed films, including “Thirteen” and “Meandering Scars.”
Under the leadership of JWF Chair Alice Kemper and Co-Chairs Janet Sahr and Jeanette Antokal, the event will also recognize the achievements of JWF’s grant recipients, whose work empowers women and girls locally and beyond.
Celebrate the work of JWF and its grant recipients and unite in a shared commitment to philanthropy, hope and empowerment. All proceeds will directly support JWF’s mission to create meaningful change.
The Boca Raton Observer is the event’s exclusive media sponsor.
