The Boca Raton Regional Hospital Foundation’s Annual Go Pink Luncheon has been recognized as one of the largest women’s health and breast cancer awareness gatherings in South Florida.
Each year, more than 1,500 assemble to celebrate women’s breast health and to learn more about cutting-edge advancements and treatments available at the hospital. Since the inception of Go Pink in 2004, the event has raised more than $11 million in the fight against breast cancer.
With the uncertainty of the pandemic, the decision was made not to host the 17th Annual Luncheon. Instead, during October, Go Pink supporters will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of fundraising initiatives that will directly benefit cancer programs at Boca Raton Regional Hospital.
Patrons will be able to show their support through impactful offerings that include unique Institute sponsorships, paying tribute to a friend or relative battling breast cancer with a personalized message on the Path of Strength display, sending a survivor for a glam makeover and much more.
In addition, the Fund-A-Need Flash Campaign will help fund and support the Eugene M. & Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute’s Breast Cancer Navigation Program. It provides patients direct access to experienced nurse navigators who ease the burden of arranging consultations and provide assistance to patients, families and their caregivers to aid them in effectively navigating the health care system.
