One of Boca Raton’s most joyful traditions returns this December. On Thursday, Dec. 4, JARC Florida will host its eighth annual “A Fashion Show With Heart” at Boca West Country Club, promising a morning filled with style, smiles and inspiration.
Seventeen JARC clients — individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities — will take to the runway alongside family and friends, modeling looks from Shop Finally and
Scales Gear. Each stride will showcase their confidence, creativity and joy as guests cheer them on. For the models, it’s a moment to shine, celebrate self-expression and show the community all that’s possible when opportunity meets encouragement.
Before the show, attendees can explore a lively boutique fair featuring nine local vendors offering jewelry, clothing and unique gifts. The boutique experience has become a favorite tradition, giving guests a chance to mingle, discover new local brands and support small businesses that share JARC Florida’s spirit of inclusion. Following the shopping, guests will enjoy a seated lunch before the main event: a runway presentation that radiates celebration and inclusion. Expect laughter, applause and plenty of heart as each model steps onto the stage.
Chaired by Paula Rosenblum with honorary chairs Annette Stone and Kelly Blackman Stone, the event is more than a feel-good event; it’s a fundraiser with lasting impact. Proceeds will benefit the Dr. Allen & Annette Stone Adult Day Training Program at JARC Florida, which helps participants develop practical skills — from assembling and packaging products to cultivating plants and gardens — fostering confidence, independence and opportunities for meaningful employment.
The Boca Raton Observer is the exclusive media sponsor of this event.
