Hillel of Broward and Palm Beach’s 2021 We Are Hillel fundraiser is set for Feb. 9 at 7 p.m.
The virtual event will bring together our South Palm Beach, Palm Beach and Broward communities to support our students and recognize our honorees: Helene and Rick Paul, Sheryl and Tommy Davidoff and Carrie and David Schulman.
We Are Hillel Co-Chairs Patti and Larry Abramson, Linda and Ralph Behmoiras, Carol Lasek and Howard Bienenfeld, Stacey and Michael Lampert, Roxane and Michael Lipton, Ronit and Gil Neuman and Alicia and Jeff Spero, planned a meaningful program to celebrate Hillel’s students and honorees.
Following the main program, participants will be separated into break-out rooms to recognize the honorees.
The event will highlight the broad array of programs that Hillel provides on campus, including free kosher Shabbat and holiday meals; social, educational and mentorship programs; trips to Israel; and programs that teach Israel advocacy and promote support for Israel on campus.
Throughout the pandemic, Hillel has offered in-person and virtual events, and students continue to be deeply engaged in learning about Judaism and Israel while connecting with other students.
Under the leadership of Hillel Board Chair Gary Walk and Executive Director Adam Kolett, Hillel’s mission is to enrich the lives of thousands of Jewish undergraduate and graduate students at Florida Atlantic University, Lynn University, Nova Southeastern University, Palm Beach State College and Broward College so that they may enrich the Jewish people and the world.
The minimum family gift to attend We Are Hillel is $318. The Boca Raton Observer is the event’s exclusive media sponsor.
