Chef Hunter Fieri — the son of Food Network star Guy Fieri — brings high-energy flair to Boca Raton on April 17, teaming up with the Boca West Children’s Foundation for a luncheon that blends culinary creativity with community spirit.
Far from a traditional charity meal, the afternoon unfolds as part friendly cook-off, part live entertainment, and it’s wholly dedicated to supporting children across the region. Business and community leaders swap boardrooms for cutting boards, stepping into the spotlight as “celebrity chefs” as they prepare signature dishes under Fieri’s lively guidance. A panel of local personalities weighs in on each creation, adding playful commentary while guests enjoy a seated lunch and a front-row view of the action.
With Fieri emceeing, the tone promises to be relaxed and engaging, offering an up-close look at familiar faces in an entirely new setting. “This luncheon is about connection,” says Boca West Children’s Foundation executive director Pamela Weinroth. “It’s about food, community and using a fun format to shine a light on the incredible work being done for kids in this area.”
Proceeds support the foundation’s mission to assist children facing hunger, homelessness, neglect and limited access to education across Palm Beach County. The afternoon underscores how creativity and community can come together in service of something larger.
