The JAFCO South Palm Beach/North Broward Chapter will host the 2023 Mother’s Day Luncheon May 11 at 10 a.m. at the Boca West Country Club.
The event is dedicated to raising awareness and funds for children impacted by abuse, neglect, trauma and developmental disabilities in South Florida. It will include a boutique and silent auction followed by a heartwarming program featuring a meaningful candle lighting ceremony.
The luncheon recognizes deserving women who have done extraordinary things for the organization and the South Florida community. This year’s JAFCO Woman of the Year Award will be presented to Barbara Reich for her dedication and commitment to providing love and safety to local children.
Gayle Lichtman is the Mother’s Day Luncheon Chair. Marci Langley and Chris Miller are serving as Honorary Chairs, Shirley Weisman is the Grand Benefactor and the Reich and Kahn Families are the Crystal Benefactors in honor of Barbara Reich.
JAFCO’s mission is to provide care, safety and support to children and their families within the Jewish community and beyond who are impacted by abuse, neglect, trauma or developmental disabilities … giving every child a place to belong. One-hundred percent of the proceeds from the Mother’s Day Luncheon will directly touch the lives of the children and families served by JAFCO.
“So many people have worked hard to make this event a special one because they believe in JAFCO’s mission and its impact on our community,” says Lichtman.
The Boca Raton Observer is the event’s exclusive media sponsor.
