American Friends of Magen David Adom (AFMDA) invites the Boca Raton community to an inspiring evening of conversation, dedication and celebration at “Saving Lives Together,” on Tuesday, Dec. 9. The event will highlight Magen David Adom’s critical mission in Israel and recognize outstanding local leadership.
The evening begins with a VIP reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by a thought-provoking program moderated by Rabbi David Steinhardt and featuring Jonathan Conricus, former IDF spokesperson and senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies. Location details will be provided upon registration.
As Israel’s national emergency medical service, Magen David Adom answers more than half a million emergency calls each year, providing critical care whenever and wherever it’s needed. The organization’s paramedics, EMTs and volunteers are often the first on the scene during a crisis, from everyday accidents to large-scale emergencies. This special evening gives South Florida supporters a chance to stand alongside Israel’s first responders and connect more deeply with their lifesaving mission.
The evening will also highlight the Shields of Light Collection, created in partnership with Yvel, the internationally renowned luxury jewelry brand based in Jerusalem. This limited-edition line, inspired by Israel’s resilience, reflects Yvel’s artistry and commitment to social impact.
The Boca Raton Observer is the exclusive media sponsor of this event.
