On May 3, Amanda’s Corner officially launched at Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County’s (HFHGPBC) Delray Beach ReStore. To bring this unique shopping experience to life, the nonprofit partnered with local designer Amanda Perna.
The launch reception featured brunch bites and a mimosa bar alongside a DIY floral arrangement station. Guests mingled to the sounds of ‘80s and ‘90s hits. Following a ribbon-cutting, attendees browsed Amanda’s Corner, which showcases a curated selection of thrifted finds from the ReStore, one-of-a-kind designs by Perna and pieces from her Delray Beach boutique, House of Perna.
“Amanda’s bold designs and commitment to uplifting the community make this partnership truly inspiring,” says Chief Retail Officer of HFHGPBC, Todd Passehl. “We’re thrilled to bring her unique vision to the Delray Beach ReStore, and we look forward to shoppers discovering creativity and purpose in Amanda’s Corner, where every purchase supports Habitat’s mission and helps build brighter futures.”
Perna will refresh Amanda’s Corner each month, offering shoppers a fresh experience with every visit.
“I was thrilled to see so many familiar faces and new ReStore fans from the community come together to celebrate and shop with us,” says Perna. “The response to Amanda’s Corner has been amazing, and I’m so excited to continue curating and refreshing the space with unique pieces for everyone to discover.”
HFHGPBC’s ReStores are more than just home improvement thrift stores — every purchase and donation helps divert quality items from landfills and directly supports HFHGPBC’s efforts to partner with local families in building and repairing safe, affordable homes.
