Best Foot Forward will host its seventh annual Sole Mates Luncheon on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 11:30 a.m. at Boca West Country Club, celebrating another year of achievement and empowerment for foster and at-risk youth in Palm Beach County.
This uplifting event supports Best Foot Forward’s mission of providing academic support and life skills to help students succeed in school and beyond. Guests will enjoy an inspiring afternoon while learning more about the organization’s impact on local students.
This year’s presenting sponsor is Vertical Bridge, with LVL UP Fitness serving as speaker sponsor. Additional sponsors include Amy and Mike Kazma, Boca Raton Regional Hospital Foundation, Anita Detert, Mainstreet Capital Partners, Laura and Shaw McCutcheon, Oceans 234, Joan E. Schwartz and Bruce Rubinger. Saks Fifth Avenue Boca Raton is the raffle sponsor.
During the luncheon, Best Foot Forward will present the Anchor Award to Lorraine Cross, Anita Detert, Anita Kreilein and Laura McCutcheon, honoring their dedication to local youth and their visionary roles as co-founders of the Sole Mates Luncheon. The recognition underscores the extraordinary efforts that have helped provide students with critical essentials needed for academic and personal success.
“We hope to raise significant funds for student essentials such as birthday celebrations, field trips, senior year activities, groceries and college summer housing, which are often overlooked but so important,” says Donna Biase, co-founder of Best Foot Forward.
The Boca Raton Observer is the exclusive media sponsor of this event.
