Get ready to walk, run or roll for Broward Children’s Center.
This Saturday, Nov. 15 is the 22nd Annual Miles for Smiles 5K at Pompano Beach Community Park. A family-friendly event, participants of all ages and abilities are encouraged to join as individuals or part of a team.
Along with the 5K, the event will feature children’s activities and live entertainment. After the race, there will be an awards ceremony and raffle.
Proceeds will go toward Broward Children’s Center’s programs and medical, developmental and therapeutic services designed to meet the needs of infants, children and young adults who are developmentally disabled or medically fragile, as well as the families who support them.
Registration begins at 8 a.m., with the race starting at 9 a.m.
