A beloved springtime tradition returns to Boca Raton when the South Florida Watermelon Festival takes over South County Regional Park from April 10–12 with three days of family-friendly fun.
Food takes center stage, with watermelon featured in a wide range of creative dishes both sweet and savory. Local vendors and chefs will serve watermelon-inspired bites alongside classic festival fare and familiar carnival treats, while beverage stations will offer alcoholic and nonalcoholic options.
Festivalgoers can also enjoy carnival rides, including bumper boats, giant slides and a Berry-Go-Round, while inflatable obstacle courses from FOMO Bounce add high-energy fun for all ages.
The daily lineup includes multiple chances to win the Watermelon Eating Contest and participate in the Granny Pants Catch Game, with the AGT Farm Animals Stunt Show scheduled to perform throughout the weekend. Oink, the 700-pound singing pig, along with piglets, pups and a charming llama will be making special appearances.
Organizers encourage guests to dress comfortably and be prepared to walk on grass. Watermelon-themed attire is welcome, especially for the Melon Mania Outfit Contest. Festivities run from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
