The Boca Raton Historical Society will celebrate the return of the Boca Bacchanal Grand Tasting on April 12, as the food and wine festival marks its 23rd year. The weekend-long tradition brings together chefs, vintners and food lovers while supporting the society’s heritage education programs and historic preservation efforts.
Along with Vinter Dinners, the highlight of the celebration is the Boca Bacchanal Grand Tasting at The Addison. Guests will sample more than 200 wines, Champagne, craft beers and spirits poured by winemakers from around the world, paired with culinary creations from local restaurants and The Addison’s award-winning culinary team. The setting adds to the experience, with the historic venue offering a fitting backdrop for one of Boca Raton’s signature social events.
Some participating restaurants include Asian cuisine from AlleyCat, Sushi by Bou and Kasumi at the Waterstone; Italian fare from Mia Rosebud, Mercato Italiano and Cosa Duci; seafood from Eddie V’s and City Fish Market; fine dining bites from The Capital Grille, Calusso at Pier Sixty-Six and Gallaghers Steakhouse; and sweet treats from Cristino Chocolates, Hug in a Mug and Ice Cream Club.
The afternoon also includes a silent auction featuring luxury lifestyle packages, from rare wines and dining experiences to travel and golf outings. A raffle will cap off the event, with one guest winning a $2,500 shopping spree at Saks Fifth Avenue.
