Boca Raton Celebrates 100 Years With Centennial Concert At Mizner Park
The City of Boca Raton is pulling out all the stops to celebrate 100 years of growth, innovation and community spirit. This milestone year is packed with exciting events — and this month’s highlight is one you won’t want to miss.
On May 24, the Centennial Celebration Weekend Concert hits the stage at Mizner Park Amphitheater, headlined by Weezer, the iconic alternative rock band that’s been shaping the sound of generations since 1992. Kicking off the evening is high-energy tribute band Fountains of Wayne, bringing nostalgic covers and fan-favorite throwbacks.
Expect a night of unforgettable anthems and pure rock revelry under the stars. From Weezer’s chart-topping classics to the familiar opening chords of “Stacy’s Mom,” it’s a celebration of music, memories and milestones.
“Whether you’re rocking out at Mizner Park Amphitheater, marveling at the [Centennial Weekend] Drone Show at BRiC or raising a glass of CentenniALE, this is a weekend to remember,” says Boca Raton Mayor Scott Singer. “We’re excited to bring the community together for these events to celebrate Boca Raton’s past, present and future.”
