West Palm Beach’s Cox Science Center & Aquarium (CSCA) invites dinosaur fans to travel back to prehistoric times at its blockbuster exhibit, “Dinosaur Safari: A Walk Through Adventure.” Opening on Oct. 14, visitors will get up close and personal with more than 30 lifelike replicas of the most fascinating dinosaurs, including the mighty T. rex and the carnivorous Spinosaurus.
The immersive experience, set to reveal the evolution of dinosaurs, their habitats and the latest discoveries in paleontology, will feature spectacular animatronic installations and interactive activities designed for children and the young at heart.
“Authentic fossils and casts allow visitors to get hands-on with the past, a dig-pit allows future paleontologists to make new discoveries, a Brachiosaurus family roams by in immersive projections and VR allows children and adults to experience dinosaurs in 4-D,” states the museum’s website. “Dino Safari has it all, but beware: along the journey, you might find a lost egg, dinosaurs could battle, and your family just might have to help bring a baby dinosaur to life!”
Visitors can race a raptor, uncover fossils, slide down a sauropod and travel across seven different locations in the Pangea National Park.
“Our team is pulling out all the stops to bring prehistoric creatures to South Florida,” says CSCA President and CEO Kate Arrizza. “This exhibit will give the full scope of every dinosaur that once roamed the Earth and provide engaging activities for guests of all ages.”
“Dinosaur Safari: A Walk Through Adventure” will be open until April 2025.
