The Delray Affair returns to Atlantic Avenue April 10–12, bringing one of the southeast’s largest and longest-running arts and crafts festivals back to the heart of downtown Delray Beach. Produced by the Greater Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce, the event celebrates the festival’s 64th year.
Nicknamed the “Greatest Show under the Sun,” the Delray Affair stretches seven city blocks along palm-lined Atlantic Avenue and features more than 500 artists and crafters from across the country. The juried festival is known for its eclectic mix of fine art, handcrafted goods and distinctive products, earning numerous regional and national accolades over the decades.
The three-day outdoor event invites visitors to stroll downtown and connect with artists while exploring their paintings, sculptures, photography and mixed-media works. There will also be live demonstrations and workshops, along with food vendors and official festival merchandise, including commemorative posters and apparel.
This year’s poster was created by Ellen Negley, a Lake Worth Beach-based watercolor artist whose work is inspired by South Florida light, tropical foliage and energetic urban scenes. Her expressive style reflects both her travels and her connection to the region she now calls home.
Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
