The Society of the Four Arts is taking its 2026-27 season on the road.
With renovations underway at its historic auditorium and galleries, programs will take place at the Royal Poinciana Chapel, Palm Beach Day Academy, the Flagler Museum, the Norton Museum of Art and Bunker Artspace. The east side of the Four Arts campus will remain open throughout the season.
Music anchors the season, with performances beginning in December. Highlights include the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, pianist Gabriela Montero, organists Paul Jacobs and Felix Hell and a three-part Violin Festival curated by artistic adviser Wu Han.
New this season is a Broadway cabaret series hosted by Tony Award nominee Alan Campbell and featuring Seth Rudetsky, Faith Prince and Norbert Leo Butz. Metropolitan Opera stars Aleksandra Kurzak and Matthew Polenzani will appear in recital, while Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana returns for a spring dance performance.
Screenings of film and theater broadcasts will temporarily move to Palm Beach Day Academy. Offerings include the Friday Film Series, The Met: Live in HD and National Theatre Live with productions such as “Cosìfan tutte,” “Macbeth,” “Hamlet,” “All My Sons,” “Les Liaisons Dangereuses” and “The Misanthrope.”
The exhibition schedule includes “The High Life: Contemporary Photography and the Birds,” an outdoor exhibition featuring more than 50 photographers from around the world on view from Dec. 5, 2026, through May 2, 2027. German photographer Kristin Schnell will join the organization in March as the Beyer Artist-in-Residence, offering a lecture and workshop series.
Additional programming includes the Four Arts Contemporaries series at Bunker Artspace, Campus on the Lake educational offerings and the Esther B. O’Keeffe Speaker Series, with speakers to be announced later this fall. Programs will also be available through livestreams and on-demand recordings for members.
