With an impressive average of two donations made every second, the comprehensive report showcases the most generous places globally — with Ireland taking first place — and highlights pivotal moments of the year that inspired significant giving, such as the Paris Olympics and Hurricanes Helene and Milton. It also explores trends shaping the future of fundraising.
In the United States, Vermont leads as the most generous state, followed by Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. While Florida didn’t make the list of top states, The Sunshine State dominates the report’s top 10 cities for donations per capita. Sarasota took the No. 2 spot, followed by Fort Lauderdale at No. 3, Doral at No. 4, Orlando at No. 6, Miami at No. 8 and Boca Raton rounding out the list at No. 10.
