Alzheimer’s Community Care will mark three decades of service with the debut of its signature luncheon, Hearts of Hope, on Friday, Feb. 6, at The Addison in Boca Raton. The event promises an afternoon of purpose and community connection, beginning with Shop with Heart, a curated pop-up marketplace featuring unique finds from local vendors.
Guests will then gather for an award ceremony honoring community leader Pamela Higer-Polani for her dedication to supporting families affected by dementia. The luncheon’s featured speaker, local artist and writer Kristin Beck, will share reflections on memory, creativity and resilience, shining a light on the challenges and triumphs of caregiving.
Attendees are encouraged to wear red or pink in keeping with the theme of hope and love. Proceeds from the luncheon will benefit Alzheimer’s Community Care’s essential programs, including specialized day centers, family navigators, education initiatives and a 24-hour helpline. These services, offered at low or no cost, help caregivers keep loved ones safe at home while navigating the complexities of dementia care.
