The 13th Annual Boca Burger Battle returns to Sanborn Square Park on Saturday, July 11, bringing one of South Florida’s most anticipated summer food events back to downtown Boca Raton. As Florida’s longest-running burger festival, the evening blends unlimited tastings, live music and a competitive culinary lineup while benefiting the Children’s Giving Foundation.
Produced by BocaRaton.com and The BITES! Network, the event runs from 7–10 p.m., with VIP admission beginning at 6 p.m. for early access to every tasting station. The open-air festival features unlimited burger samples created specifically for the competition by top chefs and restaurants from Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties, along with craft beer, wine, premium spirits and nonalcoholic beverages available throughout the evening.
Chef contenders compete for first-, second- and third-place Grill Master honors, judged on flavor, creativity, patty quality, bun integrity and presentation. Attendees also help determine the People’s Choice Best Battle Burger by casting votes during the event. Last year’s People’s Choice winner was The Vault at Old Town Pompano, while Duffy’s Sports Grill took first place, followed by Won-Toms from Deerfield Beach and The Cove Waterfront + Tiki Bar in third.
This year, live music from the Spider Cherry Band will provide entertainment throughout the evening, setting the soundtrack for the festival’s high-energy atmosphere. Guests can also explore an on-site retail bazaar. The event is restricted to guests 21 and older. Proceeds go toward the Children’s Giving Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping children’s charities throughout South Florida.
