The Addison — Boca Raton’s premier wedding and event venue designed by renowned architect Addison Mizner in 1925 — has announced 10 nonprofit recipients for its 100 Years, $100K Giving Initiative. The special program was created to celebrate the venue’s landmark centennial year by giving back to the community that has supported this Boca Raton treasure for a century.
“We are incredibly moved by the level of passion and purpose displayed by all the applicants,” says Zoe Lanham, vice president of The Addison. “This initiative is a reflection of our century-long commitment to serving the community — and we look forward to helping these 10 deserving organizations advance their missions in meaningful ways.”
Each organization received a $10,000 grant to support a signature fundraising or awareness event at The Addison in 2025. The selected nonprofits are JARC Florida, Boca Raton Historical Society, Sweet Dream Makers, EmpowHERto Inc., Boca Raton Police Foundation, Great Plains Foundation, Impact 100, Friends of Foster Children of Palm Beach County, Florida Atlantic University Foundation and Twin Palms Center.
The winners were honored at The Addison’s Centennial Grant Cocktail Reception on June 17. The venue will continue its centennial celebration by partnering with the City of Boca Raton to host a Centennial Gala on Nov. 9.
