Sports Illustrated Swimsuit has released its 61st edition, and The Boca Raton, one of South Florida’s most iconic resort destinations, takes center stage as one of the issue’s shoot locations. The feature coincides with the debut of the resort’s newly reimagined Beach Club, following a $130 million transformation.
A star-studded team of Olympic medalists — including Jordan Chiles, Gabby Thomas, Sunisa Lee, Eileen Gu, Nelly Korda, Caroline Marks, Toni Breidinger and Ali Truwit — were photographed against the resort’s stunning beachside and harborside backdrops.
“It was an honor to collaborate with the Sports Illustrated team who captured our property’s energy and spirit of eternal summer, permanently within its pages,” says Daniel A. Hostettler, president and CEO of The Boca Raton. “The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue is globally recognized as a symbol of women’s empowerment, diversity and inner and outer beauty. It’s especially poignant to join the brand’s legacy during a milestone year as we celebrate an exciting new chapter in The Boca Raton’s evolution.”
Tucked along a half-mile stretch of private beach, the newly refreshed Beach Club includes 210 redesigned rooms and suites — some with expansive outdoor terraces — and brand-new dining experiences like Marisol, serving Mediterranean coastal fare, and Onda, a laid-back restaurant right on the sand.
Guests can also enjoy unique amenities like Sorbetto, a floating Fiat 500 that cruises the Intracoastal, and The Cabana Club by Vilebrequin, a collection of vibrant poolside retreats designed in partnership with the St. Tropez swimwear brand. A quick five-minute water taxi ride across Lake Boca Raton connects guests to the rest of the resort’s extensive offerings, including golf, tennis, pickleball, wellness and more.
From its luxe coastal aesthetic to its breezy sophistication, The Boca Raton proved to be a picture-perfect partner for this year’s iconic issue.
