Twilight in the Garden returns on April 18 for its fifth year, as the Delray Beach Historical Society welcomes guests to an evening that blends culinary discovery and local history in an elegant and unmistakably Delray setting. The annual fundraiser supports the organization’s educational programs and preservation of its growing archives, while offering one of the season’s most immersive outdoor social experiences.
Held on the society’s downtown campus, guests can enjoy an open bar before wandering through heritage gardens and historic cottages, sampling dishes from a wide range of local restaurants.
This year’s lineup spans some of the area’s most popular spots, from Avalon Beach House and Campi Italian to Dada, City Oyster and Farmer’s Table, alongside pours from Schnebly Redland’s Winery and Lost Linderos Tequila.
Guests can expect a mix of savory and sweet offerings, such as the coveted Dada Dates, craft cocktails, wine tastings and mocktails, along with gourmet coffee drinks and desserts, as well as additional surprises planned for the evening. Live music adds to the atmosphere, while a live auction ups the ante. Last year’s bidding included gemstone-encrusted earrings, a local shopping spree and a seven-night trip to Hawaii.
Twilight in the Garden starts at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 18, at the Delray Beach Historical Society, located at 3 N.E. 1st St. in downtown Delray Beach. For more information, call 561-274-9578 or visit delraybeachhistory.org.
