With the Delray GreenMarket finished for the summer, artisans are taking over Old School Square this weekend.
The Delray Diamond Open-Air Artisan Market begins today at Old School Square, offering residents and visitors a chance to browse handmade goods, local artwork and specialty products from regional makers. The free event runs through Aug. 9 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The three-day market shifts the focus from fresh produce to handcrafted jewelry, home décor, apparel and other goods. Local artists will also display and sell original works, giving attendees a chance to meet the creators and learn more about their work.
The Delray Diamond Open-Air Artisan Market is located at Old School Square, 51 N. Swinton Ave., Delray Beach.
