On Nov. 18, American Friends of Magen David Adom (AFMDA) hosted an impactful season opener event featuring star of Netflix’s “Fauda” Lior Raz at B’nai Torah Congregation. The night of unity honored the lifesaving work of Magen David Adom (MDA), Israel’s national ambulance, EMS and blood services organization, especially for its efforts since the horrific Hamas attacks of Oct. 7, 2023. The event, moderated by AFMDA supporter and philanthropist Bryan Drowos, drew a crowd of more than 700 community members.
