ChildNet, the Community-Based Care lead agency hosted its annual Care for Kids “Cocktails and Cheers” event, presented by Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, on May 14 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood. The event raised $137,000 to support foster youth and families throughout Broward and Palm Beach Counties.
The event, which was emceed by WPLG Local 10 anchor Eric Yutzy, honored Cindy Arenberg Seltzer, president and CEO of the Children’s Services Council of Broward County. Guest speaker Corey Lynn Atiles shared her inspiring recovery journey and how ChildNet played a pivotal role in helping her reunify with her children.
