The Boca West Children’s Foundation raised $500,000 during its Community Cook-Off Competition on April 17 at Boca West Country Club, where Food Network personality Hunter Fieri hosted a spirited culinary showdown featuring local business and community leaders. Judges included Yaniv Cohen, known as “The Spice Detective,” and best-selling author and business leader Melissa Butterworth. Proceeds from the luncheon will support more than 30 Palm Beach County nonprofits serving children and families facing hunger, abuse, neglect and homelessness.
