JARC Florida held its 40th annual gala on March 8 at Boca West Country Club, raising more than $1 million and drawing a sold-out crowd of 425 attendees. The evening honored four decades of service to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and recognized Barbara Lurie as Volunteer of the Year. Proceeds supported JARC Florida’s programs, which provide vocational training, life skills development and residential services. The Boca Raton Observer is the exclusive media sponsor for this event.
