Boca Raton is home to many wonderful restaurants and now it’s about to increase its offerings.
PEBB Enterprises, an entrepreneurial, full-service private equity real estate investment company, recently announced plans to develop Restaurant Row, a project with five restaurant locations next to Town Center at Boca Raton.
PEBB says it acquired the nearly two-acre site in July for $2.35 million. Construction is expected to be completed in the third quarter of next year.
As of now, two popular restaurants — Pubbelly Sushi, a Japanese and Latin-inspired restaurant with three Miami locations and El Camino, a Mexican eatery with outposts in Fort Lauderdale and Delray Beach and soon-to-be West Palm — will be opening in the coveted spot.
Restaurant Row will likely be a favorite of those working in the adjacent Two Town Center office building as well as guests staying at four nearby hotels. There will be several pedestrian connections, as well as plenty of outside dining space — something many restaurateurs and diners prefer these days.
“Restaurant Row is a fantastic opportunity to accommodate the demand from restaurant operators seeking to expand to South Florida, along with established local operators looking to add a new location,” says PEBB Enterprises President and CEO Ian Weiner.
PEBB has a strong presence in Boca Raton. In June, the company acquired a three-story office building on Military Trail for $18.35 million. In July, it purchased an office building within the Park at Broken Sound for $14.52 million. PEBB and joint venture partner Banyan Development also acquired Boca Lake, a mixed-use site with retail and office space.
