The Salon du Chocolat returns to Paris Oct. 29 through Nov. 2, marking its 30th anniversary. The world’s largest chocolate celebration features masterclasses with renowned pastry chefs, chocolate sculpture exhibitions, pastry workshops for adults and children and, of course, tastings.
“This year, creativity explodes, and innovation is everywhere. From raw cocoa to the boldest patisserie creations, the Salon becomes a living theater of an ever-evolving art. For 30 years, it has spoken to the soul as much as to the taste buds — and never has the Salon du Chocolat had so much heart,” says event director Marianne Chandernagor in a news release.
The international gathering draws pastry chefs, confectioners, cocoa-producing countries and chocolate makers from around the globe. For the anniversary, the traditional Chocolate Fashion Show will be replaced by a fashion show featuring a musical twist, complete with edible couture. Attendees can also visit a new chocolate bar to learn how to identify aromas, assess snap (the crisp sound of well-tempered chocolate breaking) and evaluate texture and finish.
If Paris isn’t in your travel plans, the Salon du Chocolat will also return to the U.S. with an event at Center 415 in Midtown Manhattan, March 7-8, 2026. That show will feature Swedish chocolatier Håkan Mårtensson carving a chocolate dragon and a kids’ zone.
