The Boca Raton Regional Hospital Foundation’s Annual Go Pink Luncheon will have a different hue this year.
The gathering, one of the largest women’s health and breast cancer awareness events in South Florida, usually draws more than 1,500 guests, who learn about cutting-edge treatments while raising money to help the fight against breast cancer.
This year, due to the pandemic, the 17th annual event won’t take place – but it has been reinvented to continue the mission and celebrate National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
“In October, Go Pink supporters will have an opportunity to participate in a variety of fundraising initiatives that will directly benefit cancer programs at the Eugene M. & Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute and at the Christine E. Lynn Women’s Health & Wellness Institute,” notes a press release.
On tap: institute sponsorships, paying tribute to a friend or relative battling breast cancer with a personalized message on the Path of Strength display, sending a survivor for a glam makeover and more.
Saks Fifth Avenue Boca Raton will be the Pink Daisy Pick Raffle sponsor, offering raffle tickets for prizes valued at more than $500 each. The Boca Raton Observer, the event’s exclusive media sponsor, will provide updates on Go Pink as it nears.
