Dear friends,
First and foremost, during this difficult time, I hope you and your families are staying safe and healthy and trying to make the best of our new normal.
Personally, I’ve been busy writing, organizing, cleaning out closets and cooking more than I have in years. My husband says the only benefit of quarantine is the improvement in my culinary skills.
Needless to say, when we made the difficult decision not to publish our May issue, it was the first time since I started the magazine in 2003 that we didn’t go to press. It was a very surreal and sad feeling for me as I’m so used to publishing an issue every four or five weeks to ensure you get a new Observer in your mailbox. But we are getting back on track.
Right now, my wonderful team and I are busy working on our June/July Men’s Issue, which will publish on June 22. Packed with fabulous stories (and guys!), this issue will also introduce our exciting new Top Dentists section, in partnership with topDentists, LLC, in addition to our popular Best Of Health profiles. Then, our August Family Issue will feature our Top Docs section, in partnership with Castle Connolly. We hope you find these resources helpful in making crucial choices for your health care in these important and unprecedented times.
Also, don’t forget to check out our website, BocaRatonObserver.com, where our editor, Chelsea Greenwood, has been blogging about local news and expert advice relating to the pandemic. Make sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram, too, so you don’t miss a thing.
