It’s hard to imagine the city of Boca Raton without thinking of The Boca Raton. Designed and built by Boca’s legendary visionary Addison Mizner, it has since grown and expanded to encompass a private members club, five distinct hotels, restaurants, numerous swimming pools and tennis courts, a golf course, a marina and a spa. Since opening its doors as the Cloister Inn in 1926, the resort has served as the city’s crown jewel, and with its own centennial celebration arriving next year, it’s as storied and iconic as the city itself. Throughout all its iterations, one thing remains unchanged: The Boca Raton is a haven for luxury, style and the ultimate escape.
Following a $130 million transformation, The Boca Raton’s Beach Club has been reimagined into a luxurious beachside retreat with natural textures in open, light-filled spaces that embrace the spectacular seaside view and capture the laid-back elegance of Boca Raton.
There are ample opportunities to relax and unwind. With a half-mile of private beach and three pools lined with stylish cabanas, it’s the kind of place where time slows down.
Soothing hues throughout the property add to the breezy and bright oceanside feel. Natural marble, limewash plaster walls and whitewashed wood accented by vibrant coral color instantly transport guests to a state of calm. All 210 rooms embrace a serene coastal lifestyle incorporating natural textures with an open, light-filled space that provides stellar ocean views through floor-to-ceiling windows. Thoughtful details — from plush bedding to the luxurious Acqua di Parma bath amenities — elevate the experience. And whereas the majority of the 200-acre resort is located on the “harborside,” the Beach Club, as its name implies, is for those seeking sand and sun.
When it comes to dining, Marisol is a standout. With newly designed indoor-outdoor seating and an expansive covered terrace, guests can enjoy breakfast dishes like the Beachside Smoked Salmon, Shakshuka Baked Eggs or Bread Pudding French Toast. For lunch, Mediterranean fare like Whipped Feta and Roasted Pepper Muhammara make for flavorful openers, followed by Chicken Shawarma, Local Fish Sandwich and the Marisol Burger. There are also kebab dishes and sides like Zaatar-Spiced French Fries. Come evening, Greek Lamb Chops and Seafood Paella take the dining experience to new heights. For the ultimate indulgence, begin with a Shellfish Tower or Caviar, and if you crave an after-dinner drink, cocktails like the Italian Espresso Martini (Ketel One Vodka, Galliano Espresso Liqueur, Averna Amaro, White Crème de Cacao and Cold Brew Coffee) and Fig’n’Pig (Whistle Pig 10 yr., Mission Fig Syrup and Mole Bitters) hit the mark.
Onda, the outdoor eatery with Latin American influences, is located just steps from the ocean. While it is closing for season, it will reopen in the fall with a new chef and menu. Past dishes have included Pinchos (Spanish for skewers) like Honey-Lime Local Fish & Mango, Caribbean Shrimp and Langosta Al Coco — Poached Maine Lobster, Creamy Coconut Sauce, Dominican Arroz and Caviar.
Guests staying in designated suites at Beach Club as part of the exclusive Suite Collection also have access to the reimagined
Top of the Tower on the 27th floor of The Boca Raton’s Tower hotel, located across the Intracoastal. There, they’re treated to an array of culinary offerings served from 1 to 7 p.m.
The Living Room Bar is a popular gathering spot for handcrafted cocktails and a curated selection of bites.
And for extra indulgence, head to Spa Palmera on the harborside of the resort. Modeled after Spain’s ornate Alhambra palace, the expansive 50,000-square-foot retreat offers treatments rooted in wellness traditions from around the world.
Whether enjoying a good book by the pool, napping to the gentle sounds of the waves, savoring an exceptional meal or relaxing in one of the luxurious rooms or suites, Beach Club transports visitors to a faraway haven without ever leaving home. It’s Boca Raton at its most timeless and sun-soaked.
