ArtServe Once Again Partners with Holy Cross Health to Celebrate Female Artists
“Seasons of Life” exhibit runs through August 19
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (May 24, 2021) — As the COVID crisis wanes and an economic renewal is in sight, ArtServe and Holy Cross Health are partnering to host the exhibition aptly titled, “Seasons of Life and Nature,” the first in a quarterly series of exhibitions by female artists in South Florida.
Seasons of Life and Nature runs through August 19 at the Dorothy Mangurian Comprehensive Women's Center at Holy Cross HealthPlex in Fort Lauderdale. The collection of paintings is displayed by local artists MaiYap and Claudia Castillo, who were selected for their extraordinary creativity and reflection of ArtServe's commitment to providing exceptional public art throughout Broward County.
“Each one of these artists juxtaposes abstraction and composition, order and intuition, reason and randomness, portraying a diverse and yet parallel examination of identity and nature,” explained ArtServe Curator Sophie Bonet. “Each of these exceptional artists presents a new way of looking at the world around us.”
ArtServe and Holy Cross Health renewed a longtime partnership to celebrate South Florida female artists through these exhibitions that are dedicated to showcasing the inspiration and encouragement of women in the arts.
“Art is therapeutic and a calming influence that can facilitate the process of healing,” said Mark Doyle, President and CEO of Holy Cross Health. “We are thrilled to once again join ArtServe in bringing these exhibitions to our community.”

About Claudia Castillo: A Colombia-born artist, gallerist and founder of Claudia Castillo ART studio, a boutique art gallery in the heart of Wilton Manors, Claudia Castillo is dedicated to expanding culture and artistic diversity in her civic community.
