AVDA's Purple Pajama Party Logo

You're safe in your home already. Help survivors access safety away from abusive partners by donating to our virtual Purple Pajama Party Fundraiser. Donations will be matched dollar for dollar by an Anonymous Family Foundation (up to $40,000). Matching Gift Dates: April 1, 2023 - November 15, 2023.

How to Participate!

1. Host your summer BBQs, family reunions, pool and beach parties with a Purple Pajama Party theme. Plan a night in with your family, friends, kids, or grandkids. Host a traditional slumber party with the kids in your neighborhood. Working from home?

Wear your purple pajamas while you work! Whatever you do, enjoy the safety and security of being home or with family, something

survivors of domestic violence are unable to do because of the violence they experience at home.

2. Donate to AVDA to invest in life-saving services and freedom for survivors and their children to live safe and violence-free.

3. Contact AVDA (jrey@avda-fl.com) to arrange a speaker for Purple Pajama Party for your company/community group/friend group. These educational parties spread awareness about domestic violence and AVDA's services as well as the need for support.

4. Don't forget! Take pictures of your participation and post them to social media (Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter). Show your support for the cause by using #PurplePJsForAVDA. The post that includes this hashtag with the most combined comments/likes/shares will be re-posted to AVDA's Facebook Page and the individual will receive a "PPP Influencer Award".

We want you to take time with your loved ones in honor of those who can’t and support AVDA to assist families in attaining safe and secure living environments.
