Bring the summer to a close with a day of slime at the Museum of Discovery and Science (MODS) during Back-to-School Slime Time Weekends taking place in August.

Join our super slimeologists for the ooey-gooey Slime Lab. Make-and-take home your own slime after learning the best techniques in our slime-making workshop in the Keller Science Theater.

Take a picture in front of our slime wall.

Learn to make slime bubbles and see who can get the longest stretch out of their super slimy goo.

Masks are mandatory for all guests over the age of 2, including those who have received a COVID-19 vaccine, and everyone is required to follow MODS Healthy Choices Make Healthy Scientists protocols to ensure a safe experience.

Weekends in August

(August 7-8; August 14-15; August 21-22; and August 28-29)

Museum Hours: Saturdays 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sundays 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.
