Experience a unique blend of two iconic musical worlds at Brits & Bossa: The Music of the Beatles & Brazil on May 2 at 7pm at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts.
Presented by producer/musician and Broadway vet Manny Moreira, this multimedia performance combines the timeless sound of the British Invasion with the sophisticated rhythms of Brazilian bossa nova and Tropicália, creating a fresh and unexpected take on nostalgic classics.
Through live music, authentic storytelling, and groovy projections, the show takes audiences on a journey from London to New York to Rio de Janeiro.
From softer ballads like "Yesterday" and "Girl From Ipanema," to upbeat rhythms like "Jumpin' Jack Flash" and "Mas Que Nada," the evening delivers a dynamic and energetic experience in the intimate setting of the Rinker Playhouse, making it a standout night for music lovers looking for something a little different.
Joining us on stage is emerging songstress Lou Wilkin and a stellar band: Cassio Coutinho (keys), Wesley Nascimento (drums), and Miguel Huerta Garcia (bass and additional vocals).
