City of Miramar’s First Fridays: Network & Chill

Designed for adults ages 21 and older, First Fridays: Network & Chill creates an engaging environment. This month's guest speaker is Louis Oliver.

You won’t want to miss September’s First Fridays: Network & Chill series with former Miami Dolphin and Florida Gator turned entrepreneur Louis Oliver. Join Miramar Mayor Wayne Messam and the Economic Development & Housing Department on Friday, September 4, 2026, from 6:30pm to 9:00pm at Universal Technical Institute (2601 SW 145th Avenue Miramar). Admission is free with RSVP.

Designed for adults ages 21 and older, First Fridays: Network & Chill creates an engaging environment where attendees can expand their professional networks, exchange ideas, discover new opportunities and gain valuable insights from accomplished industry leaders. The goal of this monthly Fall series is to bring together entrepreneurs, small business owners, creatives and emerging professionals for an evening of networking and business development.

Headlining the September event is Louis Oliver, a former professional athlete and staple in the South Florida hospitality and entertainment industries. He is currently an investor and partner in NXTGUEST.com Luxury Transportation. He brings the same discipline, drive and commitment to excellence from the football field into every aspect of NXTGUEST.com and is redefining what luxury ground transportation looks and feels like.

Each event will feature influential guest speakers, networking opportunities and resources designed to support business growth, leadership development and entrepreneurship. Previous month’s guest speakers have included DJ Irie, Rohan Marley, Spectacular Smith, Pretty Vee, Trick Daddy, Chris Smith, Tiffany Willis and more.
