Visit the Weston Hooters and Sunrise Hooters locations on Thursday, August 15th to help raise funds for the My Family Matters Foundation.

Visit the Weston Hooters and Sunrise Hooters locations on Thursday, August 15th to help raise funds for the My Family Matters Foundation. The My Family Matters Foundation was created by iHeart’s Big 105.9 radio personality Doc Reno to support families with children battling cancer who are grappling with financial challenges. During the event make sure to mention the Friendraiser to your server and 20% of your food and beverage sales will be donated to the My Family Matters Foundation during the entire day at the Weston and Sunrise Hooters locations.

In addition, Doc Reno will be broadcasting his afternoon drive show on iHeart’s South Florida Classic Rock Big 105.9 at Hooters of Weston on August 15th from 3 pm to 7pm. Amelia will broadcast her show on Big 105.9 from the Hooters of Sunrise location earlier that day from 10 am to 3pm. Hooters of Weston is located at 2282 Weston Road in Weston. Hooters of Sunrise is located at 3805 N University Drive in Sunrise.

“I am excited for the two Friendraisers at Hooters and the potential to raise money to help parents who have a sick child with their expenses. I can’t think of a better way to raise awareness with two live broadcasts that day to support our cause. We want to make a positive impact and help kids,” said Doc Reno.

Being an active participant in the community is important to Hooters of South Florida. “We have supported the My Family Matters Foundation for their efforts to help local children over the past several years. We appreciate everyone’s efforts in helping raise funds in our community to help children who are affected by cancer,” said Hooters of South Florida Director of Marketing Kristi Quarles.
