This Miami Art Week, Hotel Continental presents An Afternoon of Art with artist Danny O’Connor on Wednesday, December 3, featuring live poolside painting from 1–5 p.m. O’Connor’s vibrant piece The Summer of 1948, which hangs in the hotel lobby, will inspire the afternoon as he brings its nostalgic characters and retro vacation scenes to life, recreating select vignettes on a large canvas by the pool.

Guests will have the opportunity to watch these whimsical characters take shape in real time, with portraits created during the event available for purchase through Thursday, December 4. Visitors are encouraged to relax by the pool with chilled drinks and bites from Divebar while enjoying an easygoing afternoon of art, sunshine and classic Americana inspiration.
