Lighthouse for the Blind 80th Anniversary Gala
The 80th Anniversary Gala is a signature celebration honoring eight decades of Lighthouse for the Blind of the Palm Beaches’ commitment to empowering individuals who are blind or visually impaired and strengthening our community. The evening will recognize the supporters, partners, volunteers, donors, and community leaders whose collaboration has helped advance our mission and expand opportunities for those we serve.
A highlight of this year’s celebration will be the interactive “Friction to Freedom” Showcase during cocktail hour. Through hands-on demonstrations and meaningful conversations, corporate leaders will be paired with Lighthouse staff and clients to experience firsthand how universal design, digital accessibility, and inclusive employment practices can transform everyday challenges into opportunities. The showcase will demonstrate how removing barriers not only creates greater independence and inclusion for people who are blind or visually impaired, but can also help businesses reduce operational friction, strengthen their workforce, and build a more inclusive talent pipeline.
