Join the Museum of Discovery and Science (MODS) to celebrate Loggerhead Sea Turtle Day, presented by The Extra Catch, and the beginning of nesting season on Saturday, April 17 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

● Explore the amazing life of these Loggerhead sea turtles, presented by The Extra Catch, and learn how to help protect these fascinating creatures during a Turtle Talk in the Keller Science Theater.

● Meet the MODS animal keepers who care for a resident juvenile sea turtle and make-and-take turtley awesome crafts.

● Museum admission includes IMAX passes, so Museum guests can watch Into America's Wild, a 40-minute family friendly nature film.

● Be inspired by the youth leaders of The Extra Catch, a volunteer organization dedicated to changing the tide against ocean trash. You will never return to the dock empty-handed if you make The Extra Catch!

● Masks are mandatory for all guests over the age of 2, including those who have received a COVID-19 vaccine and all are required to follow our Healthy Choices Make Healthy Scientists protocols to ensure a safe experience.
