MISSION UNITED Thanksgiving Meal Distribution for Veterans

United Way of Broward County’s MISSION UNITED in partnership with the Miami Dolphins Foundation Food Relief Program and Florida Power & Light will distribute 1,000 Thanksgiving dinner meals to Broward County military veterans and active service members on Wednesday, November 25.
• In total, 1,000 meals will be distributed to Veterans, active duty military, National Guard, Reserve members of the military and they family members.
• To receive the meals, veterans, active duty military, National Guard and Reserve members must register in advance and will need to present their online registration ticket and proof of veteran or military status during a drive-thru pick up line.
• Due to limited supply, there is a 5-meal limit per Veteran household.
• COVID-19 safety measures will be enforced. This will be a drive through event where meals will be placed in the trunk of each participant’s car. Applicable registrants must wear a mask, present their registration/ID, and arrive with an empty trunk to place meals in.
• MISSION UNITED is a critical program supporting U.S. military service members, Veterans, and their families in Broward County by helping them acclimate to civilian life. Key focus areas include employment services, education, health, legal assistance, financial stability, and housing support.
• Sponsors include the Miami Dolphins, the Miami Dolphins Foundation Food Relief Program and Florida Power & Light Company.
