On Sunday, October 20, Music at St. Paul’s continues its 32nd Season with a concert by the Trillium Piano Trio titled “Beethoven’s First.” Made up of pianist Yoko Sata Kothari, violinist Ruby Berland, and ‘cellist Susan Bergeron, the Trillium Piano Trio will present Beethoven’s first publication, his Op.1, No.1 Piano Trio in E-flat Major. Also on the program are Joaquín Turina’s “Circulo,” Fantasy for Piano Trio, Op. 91, Bedřich Smetana’s Piano Trio, Op. 15 in G minor, and David Lang’s 2018 Wed.
The 3pm concert will be preceded by a pre-concert conversation with pianist Yoko Sata Kothari. Tickets for the concert are $20 (18 and under are FREE) and are only available at the door on the day of the concert.
