The Nobel prize-winning author Isaac Bashevis Singer (1903-1991), who spent the last and most productive years of his life on Miami Beach, had always been a controversial figure in the world of Yiddish/Jewish literature. This play explores the parallels between Singer's family members and some of his fictional characters while navigating the complex mindset which gave rise to Singer's creative genius.
