OCD Awareness Week 2020
OCD Awareness Week (October 11-17, 2020) is an international effort led by the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) to raise awareness and understanding about OCD and related disorders, with the goal of helping more people get access to evidence-based treatment and resources. Throughout the week, various awareness-raising events take place internationally, to support this cause. OCD Central & South Florida (OCDCSFL) is a non-profit organization and regional affiliate of the IOCDF, whose goal is to promote the mission of IOCDF in Central & South Florida. OCDCSFL is excited to announce our FREE OCD Awareness Week 2020 Virtual Event, in collaboration with OCD Jacksonville, which will be held on October 11th, 2020. This event is geared towards community members, and will include a presentation on the history of OCD and its treatment, as well as the power of community, collaboration, and advocacy. A second presentation will focus on tips to help families navigate many of the problems faced when living with someone with OCD. There will also be opportunities for Q&A with our presenters.
