Summer Sips & Sounds
The Boca Raton Historical Society, in conjunction with the Festival of the Arts Boca, presents Summer Sips & Sounds, presents the final series within the three-part concert series featuring music by Jeff Kaye and Krescendo, at The Schmidt Boca Raton History Museum, 71 North Federal Highway.
Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 6 p.m. - Our Hispanic Heritage
Despite its very Spanish name, Boca Raton’s Spanish heritage is fairly modern. About 15% of the local population classify themselves as Hispanic today. However, the city fell in love with “Spanish style” architecture when Addison Mizner came to town in the mid 1920s, and we still embrace his influences in our shopping centers, homes, and public buildings today
Jeff Kaye and Krescendo will play Spanish-inspired music from the 1920's to today.
Tickets start at $40 per person, per concert, or $108 per person for the season package at Tickets | Boca History, to include pre-concert drink refreshments (wine/water) and post-concert appetizers.
