In the mood for Italian? Da Angelino Cucina Italiana is blending decades of South Florida culinary heritage with Michelin-starred finesse.
Located in Coconut Grove’s CocoWalk, this 150-seat gem is led by Florence-born Angelin Kometa.
“It’s how we grew up eating in Italy — elegant but never stiff, where guests are welcomed like family,” Kometa says.
The restaurant radiates warmth and elegance with its terra-cotta and sage interiors, crisp linens and a garden-style patio that sets the tone for lingering meals and heartfelt hospitality.
The menu is a regional tour of Italy, starting with antipasti and crudo such as Polpo alla Griglia, Tartare di Tonno and Fiocco Di Parma & Robiola, thinly sliced Fiocco di Parma served with fresh, creamy robiola cheese and coccoli bread.
From the grill, the Vitello alla Milanese promises to be a signature dish, alongside shareable cuts such as the 10-oz NY prime steak. Sides such as Braised Artichokes and Sauteed Spinach & Parmigiano round out the meal.
The wine list is a curated journey through Italy and beyond, with bold reds, crisp whites and celebratory Champagnes. A refined cocktail program complements the experience.
Da Angelino Cucina Italiana is not just a restaurant — it’s a tribute to Italian tradition, reimagined for Coconut Grove.
