LM Restaurants has a new eatery. Meet Moréa, a Fort Lauderdale oceanfront gem that focuses on fresh, simply prepared small plates, mezze, wood-grilled meats and seafood, along with handcrafted cocktails and high-quality wines.
“Life is full of shared moments at our Mediterranean restaurant Morea. These moments happen when we gather around the table to share food and wine, tell stories, make memories, and savor each other’s company,” notes the website.
Diners can choose from indoor seating, a bar/lounge area or a waterfront patio and bar. No matter where you dine, check out the indoor two-story glass wall designed by Chihuly protege Doug Frates.
LM restaurants are very involved in the community — each one is aligned with a local nonprofit. Moréa will donate a portion of its opening week profits to Junior Achievement of South Florida — which inspires and prepares youth to succeed in a global economy.
“Family and community go hand-in-hand,” says Moréa owner Lou Moshakos. “We put a premium on both and look forward to helping Junior Achievement of South Florida continue their work while building a long-lasting relationship with them well past our opening.”
Moréa is located at 701 North Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd., Fort Lauderdale. For more information, visit moreadining.com.
