The local steakhouse scene has evolved, thanks to the opening of The Wagyu Bar, an expanded concept from the butcher Meat N’ Bone. The restaurant has relocated from Coral Way to the former Caffe Vialetto space on South Le Jeune Road in Coral Gables. It blends refined design with an approachable atmosphere, offering diners everything from casual lunches to celebratory dinners.
Diners will find premium cuts alongside global flavors with items such as A5 Wagyu Nigiri, Charred Beef Tartare topped with tobiko and steaks from Japan and the U.S. at a range of price points. Other options include Minnesota pork Baby Back Ribs, Grilled Branzino Al Limone, Seared Yellowfin Tuna Steak and a lineup of burgers and chicken dishes.

A daily happy hour anchors the lively bar program with $7 cocktails and bites such as Smoked Edamame, Wagyu Crostini, Tuna Tataki and Mini Crab Cakes. Lunch service includes burgers and shareable platters, while a glass-enclosed wine room and private dining space enhance the experience.
In a press release, co-owner Gabriel Llaurado said he is excited to introduce a fresh concept to the Coral Gables community, joking that “no great story ever begins with a salad.”
The Wagyu Bar is located at 4019 S. Le Jeune Road in Coral Gables. For more information, visit thewagyubar.com.
